Buildings

Our parish is blessed with two church-buildings, a large bluestone gothic style church built in 1895 on the corner of Alma Rd and Barkly St and a 1956 yellow brick swiss style church on the corner of Hotham St and Denman Ave. Both buildings require regular maintance plus several special projects.

Our buildings are cleaned weekly by Steps Cleaning and gardens tended to weekly by Jims Mowing at Balaclava and monthly at St Kilda. Redbook inspections are conducted quarterly and FES checks our fire safety equipment annually. However there are several small outstanding projects at both buildings and several larger special maintance projects that are underway at both buildings.
