Weddings

Wedding checklist for a wedding at St Kilda Presbyterian Church

• An emailed pastoral reference from your pastor
• The completion of a Notice of Intended Marriage form with assistance from the pastor conducting the wedding
• A Christian order of service, as an example these are the Presbyterian Marriage Rites
• The completion of a PREPARE/ENRICH marriage preparation survey or similar pre-marriage counselling with your pastor
• A wedding rehearsal one week before the wedding date
• Organising an usher who welcomes guests as they arrive and is responsible for tidying up after the guests have departed
• Hiring an audio technician from ABP Audio or similar company
  

The hire fee is $900 + GST and is payable at the confirmation of arrangements. It includes the initial meetings, rehearsal, reservation of the wedding date and use of the church sound equipment. You are welcome to hire the church organist or arrange your own music. We can recommend a local florist, caterer and wedding photographer if you require them. The building can seat 50 people comfortably.
